Reaching Forward Ministries, a Christian and Social Service Organization established through the call and vision of God To the President/Founder Brother. John N Rao Annavarapu in 2002 based on the scripture Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended but, one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead - I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Focuses on providing impartial aid to underprivileged individuals in India. We emphasize compassionate support for children, women, education, and healthcare in areas with urgent needs. The organization's activities include poor pastoral care, water well drilling, and assistance for marginalized groups, such as orphans, widows, and individuals affected by HIV/AIDS and leprosy.
About India
India is characterized by rich cultural diversity and hospitality, but it also faces widespread poverty and health challenges. With over 1,600 languages spoken among 3,000 people groups, India's diversity extends to religion, culture, and caste divisions, creating barriers to spreading the gospel. The nation, home to 1.3 billion people, struggles with issues including lack of access to the Bible, absence of churches in many villages, child labour, slavery, and prevalent diseases like HIV/AIDS, malaria, and polio. Natural disasters further worsen the situation. Urgent assistance is needed to provide the vulnerable population with food, medical care, education, and support.
Religion in India is predominantly Hindu, making up 80% of the population, followed by Muslims at 12.5% and Christians at 2.4%. In the northern region, the Christian population is less than 0.5%.
RFM India actively spreads the Gospel of Jesus in India through local pastors, evangelists, and missionaries, offering both spiritual and physical assistance. The organization prays for India and all nations to have a strong foundation in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His salvation. The verse John 3:16 emphasize the belief that God's love for the world led to the sacrifice of His son for eternal life.
We show the compassion of Christ for the poor, neglected people in the society concern and care for the sake of deceased, Love and affection for the HIV AIDS inflicted and effected.
Before being gone through about our organization, it is good and better enough to analyse about some religious scriptures rightly says that “ Service to Suffering People is the Divinity to God” and “ concerned for other is the Noble Act” therefore every one let us join together in this committed, diligent and determined endeavours with broader perspective.
Our RFM had been established in the year 2002 itself since that time onwards we are being rendering the most sustainable Gospel service and community development services for the less privileged and downtrodden people in the society, despite being prevailed of some struggles and hardships, with persistent outlook and approach and also through the Mercy and Blessings of out Almighty God.
In the past couple of years, our ministry has grown to the point where we are no longer “just an orphanage,” although that is still a vital part of RFM Compassion Home for Children. In addition to helping the orphans and widows, we have “adopted” a slum area and renamed it “Hope for India Project” With the generous donations of our supporters, we have drilled two water wells in that slum, hired Christian teachers to teach the children there, provided the village with it’s only toilet facilities.
