Bringing Faith & Hope to Some of India’s Most Vulnerable Children
India, with a population of 1.342 billion, has the highest number of orphans in any country, with 31 million children in this situation. This data is provided by UNICEF. Supporting orphan children in India is crucial due to the country's large population. Neglecting their needs is not only inhumane but also hinders economic development. Providing shelter for all street orphans in India is a significant challenge that needs to be addressed.
The Orphanage run by RFM caters to children with diverse backgrounds, such as parentless, semi-orphans, street children, and those affected by HIV/AIDS. The children, aged 5 to 16, receive shelter, food, education, clothing, and medical attention. They are nurtured with care and affection to secure their well-being and future. However, additional sponsorship is required to meet their needs effectively.
Our mission is to empower and educate children and women from marginalized communities so they can advocate for themselves and contribute to a society founded on respect, dignity, and equality for all individuals, regardless of gender, caste, or class.
